population decline: the alarm is sounded!

And yes! Unfortunately, the North Shore is ranked first among regions with the largest population decline by 2031. A significant decrease of 12% of the population will be felt, and this, in all industries. The economy certainly take a shot but what about the future is? Indeed, young people 18 to 24 years represent the age group most prone to leave our beautiful area while the baby boomers are more likely to live. Do not forget that the more years go, the more they are retiring and leaving the area. But where will we find is quite a skilled and dedicated to meet our workforce needs? How do we do this is to attract to our region? One thing is certain: we should not forget that many of our young manicois leave each year outside to investigate. It is primarily for them, over manicoise pure wool, the environment must mobilize and act in the same direction in order to counter their exodus. For their part, employers must be made aware of the importance of the return of our young people and adapt their practices and working conditions accordingly. The message begins: LET'S ACT OF PEER TO BRING YOUR KIDS!
