Every little bit counts!

Following a meeting with eco-advisor of the SADC - RMBU (a World Biosphere Reserve Uapishka-Manicouagan), I had a real awareness: all can do their part for sustainable development and at every moment of everyday life. And the best part is that you really think about each of our actions.
Here are a few examples among thousands ...

Close light in a room where there fate is super simple ... Even if only for a few minutes!

Recover rainwater in a large container, it can be unsightly ... But nature is thrilled when it's time to water our beautiful flower!

Recycle everything everything everything that is recyclable ... Even if only a small piece of paper that enveloped your chewing gum!

Revaluing our waste that stinks ... But who are the best organic fertilizer in the world!

Revaluing your old clothes into new clothes that you yourself reworked with your fingers or fairy yet they find a different utility, for example by cutting them to make rags ... Or you can just go and bring it to a place where they will serve for others if they are not too damaged!

Buy local fair or even if it's a little more expensive ... It's good for the economy and respect for individuals!

And finally, if you are an employer, thus giving a chance for our young manicois to become tomorrow's workforce by hiring them and encouraging them to continue their studies ... This is great for regional development in all spheres : Social, cultural, economic, etc.. !

All these actions, even if they are sometimes very small and may seem unnecessary, even if they do not have a non-negligible impact ... So please, do you say that the planet can that would be better!

What Organs Can Melanoma Attack?

tools necessary for a successful job search

Several resources that are there to help you in your job searches, are too often ignored or forgotten when the time came to find work, whether for a summer job, a job student, an internship or a full-time employment in a particular field.

Carrefour jeunesse-emploi de Manicouagan is a toolbox in the matter. Two employment counselors are available to assist you in various stages of your process. They are there to guide you in designing or modifying your curriculum vitae, letter writing, presentation, mock interviews and job search. Also, you have access to the documentation center where you will find a wealth of information about jobs, fields of study and labor market prospects.

Here is a list of different types of resources can also help you in your efforts:

Centre Emersion

Desjardins Student Spotlight / Manicouagan

Addict regions

Emploi-Quebec

Service Canada (Job Bank)

Jobboom

Stage Access Program (SAP)

If you want to find more local job, you can go directly to the websites of employers who have one. Or even better, be proactive and go directly to the employers you want to offer your professional services.

Since the region is mobilizing more and more about a specific goal, or stop the exodus of our young, new tools of facilitation are now at your fingertips.

Here are a few:

Portal manicouagan

Agreement 3R

In order to integrate Government labor market, you must register in the reserves of open applications. But what then a candidate? When the federal and provincial governments have strong needs for manpower in various fields and wish to recruit, they launch competitions on their websites. The approach to follow is then very simple: you create a file describing your profile and then you fill out a registration form online to apply in the area coveted. If you are eligible to sit the selection tests, you will be notified via your ONLY record, in terms of government Quebec, and email to that of Canada. Finally, if you pass the various required tests, you will be contacted for an interview. Here are the websites that can read the reserves of applications:

population decline: the alarm is sounded!

And yes! Unfortunately, the North Shore is ranked first among regions with the largest population decline by 2031. A significant decrease of 12% of the population will be felt, and this, in all industries. The economy certainly take a shot but what about the future is? Indeed, young people 18 to 24 years represent the age group most prone to leave our beautiful area while the baby boomers are more likely to live. Do not forget that the more years go, the more they are retiring and leaving the area. But where will we find is quite a skilled and dedicated to meet our workforce needs? How do we do this is to attract to our region? One thing is certain: we should not forget that many of our young manicois leave each year outside to investigate. It is primarily for them, over manicoise pure wool, the environment must mobilize and act in the same direction in order to counter their exodus. For their part, employers must be made aware of the importance of the return of our young people and adapt their practices and working conditions accordingly.
